2010 BVL Support the Veterans Bowl A Thon a Success!

I would like to personally thank everyone who supported us this year at our Annual BVL Bowl-a-thon.

Through all of our combined efforts nearly $3,800.00 was turned in at this event. Please Click Here to see a break down of the centers and leagues which contributed at the Bowl-a-thon.

As you look at the totals, keep in mind that this is just what was turned in at the event, and we still have time to collect more for the 2009 / 2010 Season. Last year we sent a check for $6,000.00 to nationals and I hope we can exceed that this year.

Our next major fund raising event is our Annual Yard Sale - to be held on the parking lot of York Lanes, Saturday May 8, 2010.

We are always looking for donated items for this event - all money collected from items sold goes into our BVL Fund account, and all items not sold will be picked up by the D.A.V.

That’s a win win situation for our Veterans. Please keep this event in mind, and if you have, or know anyone who has items they could donate please don’t hesitate to contact me.

Remember a few items from a lot of people will add up to making this a gigantic fund raising event. If you should need to contact me for any reason, please feel free to do so.

The Bowlers to Veterans Link is a nonprofit charitable organization which raises about $1 million annually to fund a variety of recreational equipment and therapeutic supplies for America's Veterans.
